my first attempt at a poem

Somewhere, deep in the country,

far from the bustle of the city and our too fast lives...

There is a beautiful gilded field,

enclosed by acres of towering natural buildings,

wielding the in the summer gleam of the sun

You are racing through the field,

galloping like a wild horse,

and the wind is blowing through your golden hair.

You look up and the sun is beaming down on your face,

and you begin to dance....

You are spinning, leaping,

twirling like a lily in the lake,

and your bear feet are blessed with the earth's dry soil.
